Parade Entry Types and Descriptions.

Please review the following information closely so you can choose the most accurate type of entry for the Bridgewater Christmas parade.

Commercial / Floats:

• Description: This category is for businesses, organizations, or groups that wish to enter a float or any type of display that is pulled by a vehicle. Floats can be decorated to represent a theme, brand, or message and often include a flatbed trailer or platform with elaborate decorations, banners, and props.

Cars / Clubs / Other Entries:

• Description: This diverse category includes antique cars, car clubs, and other community or hobbyist clubs. It also accommodates unique and off-the-wall entries that don't fit into other categories. This is perfect for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, civic clubs, and any other creative group entries.

First Responders:

• Description: This category is for entries from first responder units, including police, fire, and ambulance services. It's an opportunity for these heroes to showcase their vehicles and equipment and to engage with the community.

Schools (K-12):

• Description: This category is for school groups from kindergarten through 12th grade. School entries can include bands, cheerleaders, sports teams, class floats, or any other school-related groups.

By clicking submit you agree to and understand the following information and rules that pertain to the 2025 Bridgewater Christmas parade. These rules have been set forth by the Town of Bridgewater, the Bridgewater Police Department, and Dynamic Aviation.

Start Of the Parade: Line Up at 3:30 pm, Parade Starting at 4:30 PM

Number of Participants/Entries: Max 110

Usage of Roadway: The parade route will begin at Bridgewater Foods from Depot Street and proceed down North Main St. From there, the parade will turn right onto High Street, then turn right again onto McGuffin Avenue, where it will enter Harrison Park. This is where the Bridgewater Lawn Party takes place and also serves as the registration point for all parade entries.

ALL entrants will need to push into Harrison Park at the conclusion of the parade. Floats can tear down there. The fire department will sound the siren to signal the end of the parade.

Activities Planned: Christmas Parade, which will include floats, cars, trucks, marching bands, and majorettes. Each small business along Main Street will be offered the option to participate in the parade.

Sound Amplification Equipment: Allowed for music on the parade entries.

What happens next?

After registering, participants will receive additional information by email, including parade-day arrival instructions, lineup location, assigned position, safety requirements, and other important details.
