Michael Stoltzfus
Chairman and CEO
Michael Stoltzfus is the Chairman and CEO of Dynamic Aviation, a leader in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Since 1983, he has founded and led multiple ventures, building a reputation for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.
Michael’s journey began with a farming operation in middle school, which he grew before transitioning to agri-business and real estate investment. In 1990, he co-founded De-Ice Systems International and joined K&K Aircraft, a family business that later became the foundation for Dynamic Aviation.
As a pilot, Michael earned multiple ratings and established nine operational bases across the U.S., Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. In 1997, he co-founded Dynamic Aviation, where he has driven remarkable growth, expanding operations to 130 aircraft across 25 locations.
Michael is also the founder of the First Air Force One Foundation, dedicated to restoring the historic First Air Force One.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management program, Michael has logged over 6,000 flight hours and served on numerous nonprofit boards. He lives on a farm in Bridgewater, Virginia, with his wife, Melissa, and their two sons, Gabriel and Lucas.
Tim Crane
President
As the President of Dynamic Aviation, Tim leads the company's overall strategic direction and operations. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth across all business units, developing integrated solutions, and advancing Dynamic's mission to partner with governments to protect and defend the world.
Tim brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning entrepreneurship, Fortune 100 operations, and industrial technology transformation. Before joining Dynamic, he served as Vice President of Autonomy & Automation at Caterpillar Inc., where he led global teams deploying robotic, sensor, and AI-driven systems that advanced safety and productivity across mining and construction industries. Earlier in his career, Tim founded and later sold CoreMedia Training Solutions to Caterpillar, successfully integrating the firm and preserving its innovation culture within a Fortune 50 environment.
At Dynamic Aviation, Tim is focused on expanding the company’s role as a comprehensive solutions provider addressing global challenges in our changing world. His leadership reflects Dynamic’s mission to prevent unnecessary human suffering through actionable intelligence and applied aviation technology.
Tim has also been a pilot for nearly 30 years and is King Air 200 qualified, a background that deepens his understanding of operational realities within Dynamic’s work. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University, and resides with his family in Peoria, Illinois.
Aaron Lorson
Executive Vice President
Aaron Lorson is Executive Vice President at Dynamic Aviation. As part of the senior team, his leadership includes fleet management and various other high-level projects. He has also provided past leadership to worldwide flight operations, human resources, safety, and security.
Mr. Lorson began his career with Dynamic Aviation in 1999 as a pilot supporting contracts in the Los Angeles Basin, Panama, and Mexico.
An accomplished pilot, Mr. Lorson holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate including type ratings in the CE-500, DHC-8, and DC-3 aircraft. He also holds a flight instructor certificate for AMEL, ASEL, instrument, ground, and NVG, as well as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certificate.
Mr. Lorson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Technology and Flight from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Robert Waln
Vice President of Middle East Operations
Robert is the Vice President of Middle East Operations at Dynamic Aviation, with 20+ years of experience in leadership roles within Federal and Department of Defense programs. His expertise lies in navigating complex projects and delivering outstanding results.
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Robert streamlines processes and drives efficiency. His certifications as a PMP and PMI-RMP demonstrate his commitment to maintaining high project management standards. Additionally, he is certified in ITIL v.3 SOA, enabling effective alignment of IT services with business objectives.
Education has been pivotal in Robert’s professional development. With an MBA in Technology Management, he possesses a strong foundation in business strategy and technology integration. His Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering Technology equips him to address complex technical challenges.
Throughout his career, Robert has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, adaptability, and a proven track record of successful project outcomes. His passion for overcoming obstacles and delivering innovative solutions that surpass expectations shines through in his work. Since joining Dynamic Aviation in August 2020, he has made significant contributions as the VP of Program Management, driving the organization’s success through his expertise and dedication to excellence.
Scott Cessna
Vice President of Technical Operations
As Vice President of Technical Operations, Mr. Cessna provides leadership to Aircraft Maintenance, Modification, Repair, and Overhaul as well as Quality, Engineering, and Logistics at Dynamic Aviation. He is also responsible for the complete operation of Dynamic Aviation’s 145 Repair Station, which he holds the FAA Accountable Manager role for.
A graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Mr. Cessna began his aviation career with Dynamic Aviation in 2005 as an Avionics Technician and was quickly promoted to an Avionics Team Leader position, and then to Avionics Department Manager prior to moving into the Director of Maintenance role and assuming the Accountable Manager role for Dynamic Aviation’s 145 Repair Station in 2013. In 2016, Cessna was promoted to his current role.
Mr. Cessna is also an alumnus of the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
Andy Bothel
Vice President of Flight Operations
Andy Bothel is the Director of Defense Operations at Dynamic Aviation, where he leads the Defense business segment. Joining the company in 2004, Andy has held a variety of roles across both operations and support services, including positions as a pilot, mechanic, and in leadership overseeing ERP, Civil Operations, and Operations Control.
Andy began his aviation career after graduating from LeTourneau University with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science, along with Commercial Pilot and A&P Mechanic certificates. He also has training in Project Management Professional techniques and has training in performing DCMA Contractor Requesting Official (CRO) duties.
With two decades of experience at Dynamic Aviation, Andy plays a critical role on the executive leadership team. His expertise in aviation operations, program leadership, and defense strategy ensures the Defense business segment delivers exceptional results aligned with the organization’s mission and vision.
Tim Fulk
Director of Safety
Tim Fulk is the Director of Safety for Dynamic Aviation, where he leads the company's enterprise-wide Safety Management System (SMS), Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) program, regulatory compliance initiatives, safety investigations, and organizational safety culture strategy. He is responsible for integrating aviation and occupational safety across Dynamic Aviation's global flight operations, maintenance organizations, and special mission programs while advancing a proactive, data-driven approach to risk management and operational excellence.
Mr. Fulk brings more than 35 years of leadership experience spanning aviation safety, law enforcement, military aviation, emergency services, accident investigation, regulatory compliance, and organizational risk management. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for developing practical safety solutions that improve operational performance while fostering strong employee engagement and accountability.
Prior to joining Dynamic Aviation, Mr. Fulk served as Director of the Aviation Policy Division for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), where he was recognized nationally as the federal government's authority and spokesperson on aviation policy, aviation operations, and aviation safety. In that role, he directed government-wide aviation safety initiatives, led Federal Aviation Safety Assessments, Aviation Resource Management Surveys, and International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) audits, while collaborating closely with the FAA, NTSB, OMB, and numerous federal agencies to develop aviation policy and safety standards. He consistently earned the agency's highest performance rating for leadership and program excellence.
His diverse aviation career also includes service as an Aviation Safety Officer with the District of Columbia Army National Guard Aviation Support Facility, where he managed aviation safety programs, maintenance oversight, accident prevention initiatives, and regulatory compliance while also serving as a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot. He later flew the AW139 helicopter as a commercial medevac pilot for the Maryland State Police Aviation Command, conducting emergency medical transport and law enforcement missions throughout the region.
Mr. Fulk served 30 years in the United States Army, including combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He accumulated more than 2,600 turbine helicopter flight hours and is a type-rated S-70 pilot with extensive experience in Black Hawk, AW139, EC145, and UH-1 aircraft. His operational experience includes medical evacuation, search and rescue, hoist operations, external load operations, night vision goggle operations, and aviation instruction.
A Certified International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) IS-BAO Lead Auditor, Certified Federal Aviation Safety Officer, and Certified Aviation Accident Investigator, Mr. Fulk has led hundreds of aviation audits, safety assessments, accident investigations, and organizational risk evaluations throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Aviation from Liberty University and maintains numerous professional certifications in aviation safety, accident investigation, occupational safety, and safety management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Fulk has remained committed to one guiding principle: creating organizations where every employee returns home safely each day through strong leadership, disciplined risk management, and a culture built on trust, learning, and continuous improvement.
Molly Mae Potter
Senior Vice President of Technology, Engineering, and Programs
As Senior Vice President of Technology, Engineering, and Programs, Molly Mae Potter leads the integration of technical strategy, engineering excellence, and disciplined program execution across Dynamic Aviation. She is responsible for aligning information technology, engineering, program management, planning, and records to support scalable, mission-driven solutions and the company’s operational and growth objectives.
Molly Mae brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning government service, aerospace engineering, advanced technology development, and commercial execution. She began her career with NASA’s astrobiology research team, supporting Mars Rover missions, and later served in the United States Air Force as a flight test engineer and USSOCOM acquisition specialist. Prior to joining Dynamic Aviation, she held senior executive roles across Fortune 100 technology companies and venture-backed startups, most recently serving as Vice President of Cloud Security and Compliance at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, where she led globally deployed technology platforms with a strong emphasis on security, operational rigor, and compliance.
At Dynamic Aviation, Molly Mae is focused on strengthening alignment between engineering, programs, and operations; advancing integrated solutions that combine aviation platforms, advanced sensing, and secure data systems; and ensuring responsible data stewardship to enable reliable decision-making and program delivery.
Molly Mae holds graduate degrees from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business in Technology Commercialization and in Materials Science and Engineering, with a focus in Metallurgy, from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering-Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Brad Heithold
Lieutenant General, US Air Force (Retired)
Brad Heithold has served on Dynamic Aviation’s board of advisors since August of 2019. He is the CEO and Founder of H3 Consulting Group, LLC that focuses on Defense Strategy, Organizational Leadership, as well as Strategic Vision and Planning.
Brad is a recognized leader in the Special Operations and National Intelligence communities. General Heithold has 40+ years of leadership experience that spans the globe. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduation from High School in 1974 and was commissioned in 1981 as a distinguished graduate of the Officer Training program at the University of Arkansas. He has commanded at the Squadron, Group, Wing, Agency, and MAJCOM levels, including serving as the Commander of the 451st Air Expeditionary Group at Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan and as the Commander, Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency. He has also served as the Vice Commander, United States Special Operations Command and as the Commander of Air Force Special Operations Command. His last assignment was as the Principal Deputy Director, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Washington, D.C. As the Principal Deputy Director, he led an organization responsible for analyzing and evaluating the department’s plans, programs, and budgets in relation to U.S. defense objectives, projected threats, allied contributions, estimated costs, and resource constraints. General Heithold has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He was a National Defense Fellow at Florida International University and is an alumnus of the Senior Executives in National and International Security at Harvard Kennedy School. He is also a graduate of the Executive-Legislative Branch Relations, from the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University.
Ray Palumbo
Lieutenant General, US Army (Retired)
Ray Palumbo has served on Dynamic Aviation’s board of advisors since June 2018. He is a leading defense strategist, problem solver, and team builder who supports a broad range of public, private, and philanthropic organizations.
Ray is the founder and senior partner of Venturi Solutions LLC, a firm that delivers winning solutions in the aerospace, defense, intelligence, and IT sectors. A former US Army 3-star general, Ray served 34 years in uniform leading conventional and special operations forces during peacetime and in combat. He completed his military career as the Director for Defense Intelligence where he simultaneously led the Pentagon’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Task Force, an organization that delivered critical aerospace and terrestrial sensor platforms, IT, and intelligence analysis to warfighters around the globe. He currently serves as director on the boards of Seerist Federal, Inc., ELTA North America Inc., W.S. Darley & Company, Inc., Systematic Inc., and Toppan Photomasks Round Rock, Inc. He is a senior advisor to McKinsey’s Aerospace and Defense practice and advises a range of leading defense companies whose products and services contribute to US national security and the well-being of men and women in uniform.
Ray’s philanthropic passion is committed to improving the well-being of our nation’s military veterans and their families. As such, he serves as ambassador for the Boulder Crest Foundation and as director on the boards of the Spookstock Foundation and the First Air Force One restoration project.
Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from West Point, a Master of Science in administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College. He is a graduate of the British Higher Command and Staff course at the British Defense College in Shrivenham, England.
David Grizzle
Board Of Advisors
David Grizzle currently provides new venture formation and organizational strategy consulting, especially among firms in the aerospace industry.
Prior to opening his consultancy, Mr. Grizzle served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Air Traffic Organization, where he led the FAA’s 33,000 professional controllers, technicians, engineers and support personnel who are responsible for keeping air traffic moving safely and efficiently. While at the FAA, Mr. Grizzle also served as the FAA’s Chief Counsel and Acting Deputy Administrator.
Before joining the FAA, Mr. Grizzle was with Continental Airlines and its affiliates for 22 years, retiring as the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience. In this role, through a data-driven constant quality improvement process he led Continental to address persistent deficits in product delivery to improve the total travel experience for Continental’s customers.
During a leave of absence from Continental starting in 2004, Grizzle served for 14 months with the U.S. Department of State in Kabul, Afghanistan, as Attaché, Senior Advisor and Coordinator for Transportation and Infrastructure.
Grizzle is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. His wife Anne is a family therapist, author and poet. They have three adult sons and eight little grandchildren.
Christopher O’Donnell
Board Of Advisors
Christopher O’Donell got his bachelor’s degree from Clarkson University in 1984. He spent 39 years working in all phases of Department of Defense acquisition programs. Chris retired in 2023 after serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Platform and Weapons Portfolio Management for four years. He spent the last two years of his career performing the duties of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Acquisition and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Acquisition. Chris was also the Executive Director of the Joint Rapid Acquisition Cell, providing solutions for hundreds of Joint Urgent Operation Needs and providing capabilities to our allies and partners. Chris spent the early parts of his career leading the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal Research and Development Department and designing rocket motors and explosives.
Chris currently consults for government and the defense industry as the Acquisition Principal for O2 Defense LLC.
