Component Shop Mechanic

Location: Bridgewater, VA

The Component Shop Mechanic provides aircraft maintenance in a variety of areas to deliver quality and value to a diverse set of aviation customers. The Mechanic will disassemble, clean, inspect and assemble aircraft components such as landing gear, gearboxes, actuators and electric motors. Some of the key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, disassembly and assembly of aircraft components and parts, lubricating aircraft components and a variety of inspections and maintenance duties.

Minimum requirements include previous mechanical experience. Mechanic must also be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions or procedures. Candidate must also have a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. High School diploma or equivalent required, and A&P license with some college preferred. 1-3 years aviation maintenance experience in a small to medium sized aviation company or military environment is also preferred.
