Aircraft Sheet Metal Fabricator

Location: Bridgewater, Virginia

The Sheet Metal Fabricator builds components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials. Some of the key responsibilities include shooting and bucking rivets following FAA guidelines, bending and shaping metal to construct customized aircraft solutions, and making aircraft repairs.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of demonstrated experience in sheet metal fabrication, and constructing components for aircraft and/or other vehicle types. The ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations is also required. A high school diploma and some college are preferred. An A&P Mechanic Certificate and aviation experience are preferred.
