Hurricane Season Wrap-up: Dynamic Aviation’s Aerial Spray Team Helps Communities across Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania

Leading aerial insect-control experts delivered rapid response to mid-Atlantic reduce public health risks from mosquito infestations

Bridgewater, Va., Oct. 30, 2011 — Dynamic Aviation, a leading provider of aerial insect control and innovative aviation solutions to government and commercial organizations worldwide, acted rapidly last month in response to Hurricane Irene to help communities across the mid-Atlantic area address a public health threat related to mosquitoes.

After Hurricane Irene hit the coastal areas of the United States, Dynamic Aviation assisted communities in Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. In a series of multiple missions, the company's aerial spray team covered approximately 321,000 acres.

Dynamic Aviation has been treating large regions of the country for pests such as gypsy moths and mosquitoes since 1967. During the past six years, the company's expert aerial spray eam has sprayed more than 5 million acres across the nation. In 2005, Dynamic Aviation actively supported government-funded relief efforts after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The team also sprayed more than 3 million acres in Texas in 2008 following hurricanes Dolly and Ike.
