Press Release Dynamic Aviation Helps Dallas Fight West Nile Threat
DALLAS, Aug. 17, 2012 -- This week, Dynamic Aviation’s aerial spray team is in Dallas helping local governments agencies address the West Nile Virus threat. Within the last few months, 10 people have died in Dallas area and 17 across state of Texas due to the virus, which is carried by mosquitos.
Dynamic Aviation, in close coordination with its aerial spray partner Clarke, is supporting the mission with four Beechcraft King Air 90s, seasoned pilots who are specially trained for aerial spray applications, and a mission-focused ground operations team. Two aircraft began spraying parts of northeast Dallas last night, and four planes are in the air tonight. The teams will complete a second round of spraying at some point over the coming week.
Due to the critical nature of the project, there has been considerable news coverage of activities.
