Non A&P Upholstery / Fabrication Mechanic

Location: Bridgewater, VA

This role provides maintenance to support a diverse set of aviation customers. The responsibilities include determining necessary shop flow; maintaining shop equipment and inventory necessary to continue shop operations; manufacturing and testing flight control, secondary flight control and assorted cables. This position will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting and function checking the aircraft seats; manufacturing and testing, fueling and oiling hose assemblies; troubleshooting aircraft problems. The upholstery / fabrication mechanic will be responsible for performing basic inspection activities, completing basic documents, as well as rigging and adjusting necessary aircraft components.

The position requires a high school education, previous repair experience, and the ability to read, write and understand English. The ideal candidate must posses the ability to follow directions and remain on task. A list of required tools for the position must be provided by the chosen candidate.
