Avionics Technician

Location: Bridgewater, VA

An Avionics Technician at Dynamic Aviation provides avionics installation, maintenance, and customer support on company aircraft. Some of the key responsibilities include installing new avionics equipment with A&P supervision, basic soldering, harness build up and installation including wire stripping and crimping, fault isolation and repair of avionics system failures, performing scheduled maintenance on airborne communication, navigation, auto flight, and other avionics components to meet FAA guidelines, as well as meeting the customers’ needs on an avionics level.

Minimum requirements include vocational development or on-the-job training of electronic and avionics theory and troubleshooting on aviation systems, 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the fault isolation and repair of avionics systems, and the ability to read and use schematics and blueprints. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and an A&P license with some technical or college experience is preferred.
