Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic

Location: Bridgewater, Virginia (Relocation assistance available).

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (Occasional overtime possible.)

The A&P Mechanic provides aircraft maintenance in a variety of airframe and powerplant areas to deliver quality and value to a diverse set of aviation customers. Maintenance on electrical, plumbing, structural and engine components of aircraft are included. Some of the key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, disassembly and assembly of aircraft components and parts, lubricating aircraft components and a variety of inspections and maintenance duties. Opportunities for travel exist.

Minimum requirements include an A&P Certificate coupled with vocational/ training in aviation systems and maintenance or completion of a degree program in general aviation maintenance. Degree with an A&P certificate is preferred. 1-3 years aviation maintenance experience in a small to medium sized aviation company or military environment is also preferred.
