Michael A. Stoltzfus, President & CEO
As President and CEO, Michael Stoltzfus provides overall strategic direction, vision and leadership for Dynamic Aviation.
Mr. Stoltzfus has more than 20 years of experience as a pilot and in aviation project management and worldwide business development. He is an accomplished aviator with more than 5,000 hours of accumulated flight time, including experience flying as a captain in 10 countries.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Stoltzfus served as Chief Operating Officer and then President and COO from 2002 to 2006. During this period, he led the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan resulting in significant growth.
Before taking on the role of COO, Mr. Stoltzfus worked in a variety of positions throughout the company. Since joining the organization in 1990, he has served as base manager, manager of flight operations, vice president of flight operations and executive vice president.
Early in his career, Mr. Stoltzfus was employed at Northern Air Cargo as a flight engineer and was the President and Co-founder of De-Ice Systems International.
An active member of the community, he is Vice Chair of The Seed Company board, Chair of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Young Life Committee, and past Chair of the Bridgewater Retirement Community Foundation Board. Mr. Stoltzfus is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization U.S. Capital Chapter and the Harrisonburg Rotary Club.
He attended Eastern Mennonite University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
