Karl D. Stoltzfus, Sr. Founder and Chairman
Karl D. Stoltzfus, Sr. is Founder and Chairman of Dynamic Aviation. He provides strategic direction for the company and hands on leadership of various technical areas across the organization.
With more than 50 years experience in the aviation industry, Mr. Stoltzfus is an accomplished aviator, creative problem solver, and pioneer in developing and advancing custom aviation solutions for commercial and government applications.
Mr. Stoltzfus is an experienced pilot with over 5000 hours logged time as pilot in command. He holds a commercial pilot’s license, a multi-engine rating, instrument rating, and a DC-3 type rating.
Prior to founding Dynamic Aviation, Mr. Stoltzfus was a partner in his father’s aviation company, Chris D. Stoltzfus and Associates. In this role, he was responsible for the organization and supervision and of large gypsy moth programs throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Stoltzfus was also instrumental in designing, building and installing various spray systems for the company’s fleet of aircraft.
A graduate of Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Mr. Stoltzfus earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is an active member of many community groups, having served as Board Member of Missionary Maintenance, Board Vice Chairman of JAARS/Wycliffe, Board Chair of Wingfield Ministries and as a Board Member of the Harrisonburg, Virginia, Rotary Club.
Mr. Stoltzfus was inducted into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame in 2006.
