Vice Admiral Jerry O. Tuttle, USN (Ret.) Advisor
Vice Admiral Jerry Tuttle has more than 39 years experience as a pilot with extensive expertise in defense operations, government solutions contracting, and business management.
For nearly a decade, he has provided consulting services to a wide array of government agencies and their private sector partners through J.O.T. Enterprises, LLC, an information systems and command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance consulting company.
Before starting his own consulting firm, VADM Tuttle held a number of leadership roles for government technology and defense systems partners. Most recently, he was President of REL-TEK Systems & Design, Inc., now Savantage Financial Services, Inc., an employee-owned software development firm.
Earlier, VADM Tuttle was Senior Vice President of ManTech International Corporation and President of ManTech's largest subsidiary, ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation, where he was responsible for strategic planning at the international level and total operating responsibility at the subsidiary level of this 4,500-person management and technology firm. He also crafted the strategy for ManTech’s successful IPO.
VADM Tuttle retired from the United States Navy after a 40-year career. From Seaman Recruit to Vice Admiral, his career included assignments to numerous attack and fighter squadrons, and his most recent work as Director, Space and Electronic Warfare, led him to be regarded as a top information technology strategist. In this role, VADM Tuttle led the creation of the Navy's C4I architecture, Copernicus, and Information Warfare architecture, Sonata, as well as the C4I Joint Operations Tactical System (JOTS). Prior to that, VADM Tuttle was Director, Command, Control and Communications (C3) Systems, J6/Joint Staff. From 1985 to 1987, he was Deputy and Chief of Staff for the Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, following a tour as Naval Inspector General. Earlier, he served as Aide and Flag Lieutenant to the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet. He commanded an attack squadron, an air wing, a replenishment ship, the aircraft carrier USS JOHN F. KENNEDY, and two Battle Groups/Forces. He also served as Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations and as Deputy Director for Intelligence with the Defense Intelligence Agency.
A Naval Aviator Gold Eagle, VADM Tuttle flew more than 220 combat missions over North Vietnam and has more than 1,025 carrier arrested landings.
