Company History
Dynamic Aviation has a long and proud history of success, characterized by our entrepreneurial spirit and our core values of unity, enthusiasm, proactive urgency, constant innovation, and safety.
The legacy of Dynamic Aviation begins almost 75 years ago when aviation pioneer Chris Stoltzfus formed Chris D. Stoltzfus and Associates. The firm, which began in 1936 and operated continuously until 1981, flew a variety of aircraft primarily in crop spraying and agricultural roles.
In 1967, Karl Stoltzfus, Chris’s son, established K&K Aircraft, Inc. Shortly thereafter, he led the company in purchasing a fleet of Beechcraft BE-18s and Douglas DC-3s. These aircraft were tanked for aerial application, and began operating throughout the United States.
Over the years, Dynamic Aviation has continually found creative ways to meet our customer’s most challenging requirements. For example, in 1992 we released our first sterile insects to control, and in some cases eradicate, various pests. Dynamic Aviation has since established an excellent reputation for quality and service, and is now recognized as the international leader of sterile insect release operating aircraft worldwide.
In 1996, Dynamic Aviation purchased the U.S. Army's fleet of 124 non-pressurized Beechcraft BE-90s, enabling us to significantly broaden our scope of operations. During the latter half of the 1990s, we expanded our operations to include fire management and airborne data acquisition. In 2004, we outfitted our first aircraft for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions and have since become a significant player in this critical national defense market.
Today, we offer a comprehensive range of innovative aviation solutions, including Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Airborne Data Acquisition, Fire Management, Aerial Application, and Sterile Insect Technique. Not content to rest on our laurels, we continue to look for new opportunities to apply our creativity and “can-do attitude” to meet our customers’ greatest aviation challenges.
Our versatile, safe, and reliable multi-engine aircraft are operated from bases located throughout the world. We employ nearly 500 aviation-related professionals who are dedicated to providing innovative, cost-effective and comprehensive solutions to governments and businesses worldwide. |
