Dynamic Aviation's history is characterized by its entrepreneurial spirit and its core values of excellence, integrity and continuous improvement. In 1967, Karl Stoltzfus established K&K Aircraft, Inc.; and shortly thereafter, led the company in purchasing a fleet of Beechcraft BE-18s and Douglas DC-3s. These aircraft were tanked for aerial application, and began operating throughout the United States.
Since 1992, the company has released sterile insects to control, and in some cases eradicate, various pests. Dynamic Aviation established its reputation for quality and service, and is now recognized the international leader of sterile insect release operating aircraft worldwide.
In 1996, the company purchased the U.S. Army's fleet of 124 non-pressurized BE-90s which enabled the company to significantly broaden its scope of operations. The latter half of the 1990s saw the company expand its operations to include fire management and airborne data acquisition.
Today, Dynamic Aviation operates versatile, safe and reliable Beechcraft airplanes from approximately eighteen bases (eleven seasonal) located internationally throughout nine countries and employs more than 300 aviation-related professionals. The company's corporate offices and operational complex are located near Bridgewater, Virginia.
